Weekly giveaway: official rules
1. Sponsor
The Kondo World Weekly Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is run by Chad Yehia, Sales Representative, HouseSigma Inc., Brokerage, #629, 15 Allstate Parkway, Markham, Ontario L3R 5B4 (the "Sponsor"). Kondo World is run by Chad Yehia, Sales Representative, HouseSigma Inc., Brokerage. Entering never requires using his services.
2. Who can enter
Open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live, if higher) when they enter. Employees of the Sponsor and their households can't win.
3. Draw periods
Each week is a separate draw. A week starts Monday at 12:00 AM and ends Sunday at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Entries don't carry over to the next week. The first draw is on Monday, November 23, 2026, for the week starting Monday, November 16, 2026.
4. How to enter
With a review. Sign in and post a review of a building you lived in or own. Each posted review earns:
- 1 entry for posting the review
- 5 more entries if every Building details question is answered
- 10 more entries if the written review is 100 characters or more
Entries go to the week the review goes live. The rating you give never changes your entries. One review per person per building.
By inviting someone. Each signed-in member has a personal invite link and code. When someone posts a review after using your link or code, you get 50 entries in the week their review is posted. Each person can be counted as invited only once. You can't invite yourself.
No review necessary. To enter without posting a review, email hello@kondoworld.com with the subject "Weekly giveaway entry" and your full name. You'll get 1 entry in that week's draw. Limit one emailed entry per person per week.
5. Reviews must be honest
Reviews must follow our review guidelines and describe your own experience. Good and bad reviews earn the same entries. A review that is deleted by its author, removed or rejected loses its entries, and so do any invite entries it earned for someone else. This doesn't change a draw that has already been made. We may void entries from fake accounts, duplicate accounts or any attempt to game the Giveaway.
6. Prize
One prize per week: a $100 CAD Uber gift card. No cash alternative unless required. Prizes can't be transferred. The Sponsor pays for the prize.
7. Winner selection
On or after the Monday after each week closes, the Sponsor picks one entry at random from all valid entries for that week. Your chance of winning depends on the number of valid entries received that week, including yours.
8. Skill-testing question and confirmation
To win, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without help, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, and sign a declaration and release if asked. If we can't reach the selected entrant within 5 business days, or they don't meet these rules, another entry may be drawn.
9. Privacy
We use your name and email only to run the Giveaway and contact the winner. See our Privacy Policy.
10. General
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, the Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or not received, for technical problems, or for any loss that results from entering or from accepting or using the prize. Nothing here limits any right you have under Ontario law that can't be waived.
- Changes or cancellation. The Sponsor may change, suspend or cancel the Giveaway if something outside our control stops it from running fairly or as planned. If we do, we'll post the notice on this page.
- One winner per draw. The Sponsor's decisions about the Giveaway are final, as the law allows.
- Skill-testing question. If the law requires it, the selected entrant must correctly answer a skill-testing question before receiving the prize.
- Governing law. These rules are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
- Privacy. Entry details are used only as explained in our Privacy Policy.
