Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Kondo World. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What Kondo World is
Kondo World is a source of condo building information and reviews written by residents. It is run by Chad Yehia, a registered real estate salesperson with HouseSigma Inc., Brokerage, who may have clients or listings in buildings reviewed on the site. Kondo World does not list units for sale or rent, and nothing on the site is legal, financial or real estate advice. Information on the site comes from residents and public sources and may be incomplete or out of date — always confirm important details yourself before making a decision.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and the age of majority where you live.
Your account
You sign in with a link or code we email you, or with your Google or Microsoft account. There is no password. Keep access to your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens through your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Reviews
- Reviews must describe your own experience as a current or former resident and follow our review guidelines.
- One review per person per building.
- Reviews are public. We show only your first name, or nothing if you choose to post anonymously. We never publish your email address or account details.
- Reviews may take a short time to appear. We can decline to publish, or later remove, any content that breaks these terms or the review guidelines.
- Good and bad reviews are treated the same. You can edit or delete your own reviews.
Weekly giveaway
The weekly giveaway is governed by its official rules. Attempts to game it — fake or duplicate accounts, or reviews that aren't your real experience — can void entries and lead to account closure.
Property managers
Verified property managers can apply for a management account and reply to reviews of their buildings. Replies must follow the review guidelines as well. We can decline or remove replies and end management access.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give Kondo World permission to store, display and share that content as part of the site. You can delete your reviews at any time.
Using the site
Don't use Kondo World to:
- post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that invades someone's privacy;
- name private individuals or unit numbers;
- create fake or duplicate accounts;
- copy or scrape the site in bulk, or interfere with how it works.
Our content
The site's design, text and data (other than your own reviews) belong to Kondo World. Please don't copy them without permission.
Reporting content
To report content or request a correction or removal, see Report content / takedown.
No warranties, limited liability
The site is provided "as is". Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not of Kondo World, and we don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of anything on the site. To the extent the law allows, Kondo World is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page, and for significant changes we'll note them on the site. Continuing to use Kondo World after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Toronto, Ontario.
