Tip Top Lofts occupies one of Toronto's best-known Art Deco landmarks, the former Tip Top Tailors building on Lake Shore Boulevard West at Bathurst Street.

The clothing maker's 1929 factory, warehouse and head office was converted into loft homes, with a glass addition on the roof, and the conversion was completed in 2006. Residents of Tip Top Lofts share a gym, a party room and a rooftop terrace, and there is visitor parking. The 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcars stop at Fleet and Bathurst about three minutes away, and the 29 Dufferin bus runs from the Princes' Gates loop. The building faces the lake, with the Martin Goodman Trail, the marina on Stadium Road and Coronation Park all steps away. The Billy Bishop airport ferry and the Bathurst Quay parks are a short walk east, and the Gardiner Expressway is close for drivers heading downtown.
