The site once held the Otto Higel piano-parts factory, whose lit clock tower was a local landmark, until the factory came down. An office building replaced it, and that building was turned into lofts in the late 1990s under the name Westside Lofts, then completed as condos in 2000. It later took its current name, with a refreshed exterior and lobby. Residents have a gym with a sauna, a party room, a meeting room and a games room, and the rooftop sundeck was enlarged and has barbecues. There's also visitor parking, bike storage and a concierge desk. Fees cover heat, water and air conditioning, plus upkeep of the shared spaces. The 511 Bathurst streetcar is about a minute away and the 504 King about two, and Stanley Park and Victoria Memorial Square are a short walk.
