9 Tecumseth St

Designed by CORE Architects, the project restored a cluster of 1880s brick industrial buildings on the corner, keeping features such as an old kiln chimney and weaving them into a modern glass tower. The old carriageways along Niagara Street became covered walkways through the site, and the building also uses the address 89 Niagara St. A second tower on the site, The Essery, is still being built. Amenities include a gym, a party room and a billiards lounge. The fees pay for building insurance and the care of shared spaces. Forest Hill Kipling manages the property. The 511 Bathurst streetcar stops about four minutes away and the 504 King about five. Stanley Park and Victoria Memorial Square are a short walk, King West's restaurants are just north, and Fort York is a few minutes south.
