Industrial Revolution I is a hard-loft conversion of a former knitting mill on Richmond Street West, completed in 1997 by loft pioneers Bob Mitchell & Associates.

It is one of the original loft conversions of the west end, and its lofts change hands only rarely. The lofts keep the mill's exposed brick and timber beams, with hardwood, large windows, fireplaces and patios, and some are spread over more than one level. There is bike storage for residents. Included in the fees are water, building insurance and care of the shared spaces. Performance Property Management manages the building. The 501 Queen streetcar stops at Queen and Tecumseth a minute away, and the 511 Bathurst streetcar is about four minutes on foot. Trinity Bellwoods Park is close by, and the galleries, design shops, bars and restaurants of West Queen West and the Ossington strip are right outside.
