It was part of the wave of loft buildings that remade the old industrial blocks east of Jarvis in the early 2000s. Residents share a gym, a sauna, a party room and a media room. Guests can stay in the guest rooms, and there's visitor parking, bike storage and a 24-hour concierge at Space Lofts. Fees at Space Lofts are all-inclusive: heat, hydro, water, air conditioning, building insurance and the upkeep of shared spaces. The 501 Queen streetcar and the 75 Sherbourne bus are each about three minutes away, and the 504 King is about five. St. Lawrence Market, the King East design district and the Distillery District can all be reached on foot. Moss Park, Corktown Common and the Don River trails are nearby for green space.
