Tips from residents

In their own words · 5 tips

1–3 of 5

“Not much visitors parking”

Current owner · Oct 2026

“Book the guest suites well ahead for holidays. They are a great deal compared with a hotel, but they fill up months in advance in December.”

Past owner · Oct 2026

“Ask the landlord about past leaks. We had a ceiling leak from the suite above and it took weeks for the repair to be finished between the owner and the building.”

Past renter · Sep 2026

“Hydro is billed separately and the den has no window, so it works as an office but not as a real bedroom. Check the hydro sub-meter company before you sign.”

Current renter · Jul 2026

“Ask which elevators serve the suite you're looking at. The upper part of the tower has its own lobby and express elevators, and that makes a real difference at 8 a.m.”

Current owner · May 2026

    Would live here again: Yes

    • Well-run building with reasonable fees
    • Guest suites are a great deal for visiting family
    • Park and community centre a few minutes away
    • Guest suites book up months ahead in December
    • Some street noise in summer with windows open
Wish I'd known: Book the guest suites well ahead for holidays. They are a great deal compared with a hotel, but they fill up months in advance in December.

We owned here for six years and only sold because we needed more space. The building was run well the whole time: fees stayed reasonable, the board kept residents informed, and repairs in common areas were quick. Canoe Landing Park and the community centre are minutes away, and having groceries at the base of the building is hard to give up.

    Would live here again: Maybe

    • Helpful concierge staff
    • Great location near the park and the streetcar
    • Slow to fix a leak from the suite above
    • Weak Bell reception inside the suite
    • Street and stadium noise on event nights
Wish I'd known: Ask the landlord about past leaks. We had a ceiling leak from the suite above and it took weeks for the repair to be finished between the owner and the building.

The location and amenities are great, but my time here was mixed. A leak from the suite above damaged our ceiling, and coordinating the repair between our landlord and management took almost a month. Reception with Bell was weak inside the suite and calls dropped near the windows. On the plus side, the concierge staff were always helpful and the gym was never an issue.
