Tips from residents

In their own words · 10 tips

1–3 of 10

“The Super Club's theatre and party room are popular for family events. Book them through the office a month or more ahead for holidays.”

Past owner · Sep 2026

“Rogers and Bell both work well here, but test your signal in the suite. I lose a bar or two away from the windows.”

Current renter · Jul 2026

“Guests have to be buzzed in or met at the desk. If friends visit often, sort out how guest access works with concierge early.”

Other · May 2026

“Moves and deliveries need the service elevator booked through concierge with a deposit, and weekend slots go fast. Book at least two weeks ahead.”

Current renter · Apr 2026

“Check the noise before signing. On event nights at the stadium and summer weekends on the waterfront, the street noise lasts well past midnight.”

Past renter · Jan 2026

“Join the residents' emails and come to the AGM. The board shares plans for big projects early, so special assessments are never a surprise.”

Current owner · Nov 2025

“Ask whether the suite has had window or balcony door repairs. Ours was drafty in winter and the fix took months between the owner and the corporation.”

Past renter · Sep 2025

“Visitor parking is first come, first served and fills up on game days. Tell friends to come early or use the Green P lots nearby when the Jays are home.”

Current owner · Aug 2025

“Hydro is billed separately by a sub-metering company, not Toronto Hydro. Ask the landlord for a recent bill so you know what to budget.”

Current renter · May 2025

“The Super Club is huge, but the squash courts, bowling lanes and golf simulator are booked through concierge. Book a few days ahead for weekends.”

    Would live here again: Yes

    • Stable building with good reserves
    • Super Club saved us a gym membership for years
    • Lots of green space around the towers
    • The tennis court is busy on summer evenings
Wish I'd known: The Super Club's theatre and party room are popular for family events. Book them through the office a month or more ahead for holidays.

We owned here for nine years and only sold because we needed a bigger place for our family. We never had a serious problem with the building. It always felt safe, repairs in the common areas were quick, and the Super Club meant we never paid for a gym. We'd happily buy in Harbour View Estates again.

    Would live here again: No

    • Super Club pool was great
    • Walkable to everything downtown
    • Loud street and event noise late at night
    • Slow replies from management
    • Weak cell signal inside
Wish I'd known: Check the noise before signing. On event nights at the stadium and summer weekends on the waterfront, the street noise lasts well past midnight.

I didn't renew. The amenities are great, but my studio faced the street and event nights were really loud, sometimes until 1 a.m. One elevator was out for a stretch and the waits got long. I also saw plenty of suitcases coming and going, so there's clearly some short-term renting. Management was slow to reply when my heating stopped working. My Freedom signal was poor indoors too. It might suit someone on a higher floor or facing the park, but it wasn't for me.

    Would live here again: Maybe

    • Great location by the water
    • Pool and track are excellent
    • Drafty balcony door in winter
    • Traffic noise from the Gardiner
    • Repairs went back and forth for months
Wish I'd known: Ask whether the suite has had window or balcony door repairs. Ours was drafty in winter and the fix took months between the owner and the corporation.

The location and the amenities are excellent, but my lease here was a mixed bag. Our balcony door let in a lot of cold air, and getting it fixed meant waiting on both the owner and the corporation, which took most of a winter. With the window closed the traffic noise was fine, but on mild nights the Gardiner is always there. The Super Club pool and running track were the highlight of living here.
